Rotterdam Photo '26 — Echoes of Silence

I'm honoured to be part of Rotterdam Photo '26, this year themed Echoes of Silence, featuring a strong international programme.

I'll be showing work from Buska — my ongoing research into the colonial legacy of the oil industry on Curaçao. Through a botanical journey to the Datu cactus, a native plant used by enslaved people to fence off the plots allocated to them on plantations, I tell a history that still reverberates today.

On Friday 27 March at 11:30 I'll be giving an Artist Talk about the project.
